Notes An extended piece by the Norwegian composer, Edvard Grieg, from his Lyric Pieces, originally for piano, arranged for organ. It is the sixth piano piece in the eighth book of his Lyric Pieces, Op 65, written in 1896 on the occasion of his 25th wedding anniversary. The works festive first section describes the congratulations of the well-wishers, the second section is more reflective.
