Wedding March from “The Birds” by Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry (1848 - 1918)

The Birds is an ancient Greek comedy by Aristophanes, which was revived in Victorian times. The Wedding March by English composer C. H. H. Parry (composer of Jerusalem), although very grand, has an air of caricature about it – just enough to gently send up the pomposity of the play’s bridal procession.
