Notes Published in 1969. Cranmer had an illustrious career as an academic, becoming Professor of Music at Queen's University Belfast and then at the University of Manchester. Latterly, he was the Secretary of the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) between 1974 and 1983.
